MKAT Computer Services & Consulting was started by Michael Thompson who has been in the Computer Support industry for over 15 years. Michael is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and a Graduate of Southern Methodist University (SMU)
School of Engineering and Applied Science
(Networking Technologies Program).
After years of supporting Gateway and Compaq Customers, he joined a mid-size Houston based Software Development Company where he became Supervisor of the IT/Client Services Department.
Some of his responsibilities included leading the Support team and receiving 2nd level escalations for Hardware & Software repairs, evaluating new Software & Hardware to determine corporate standards, working with outside vendors for computer related purchases or leases.

As a Software Development Company the continued use of their computer
[desktop or laptop] was very important to all the employees. Michael was very influential in implementing many changes which provided first class support for the end-users and reduce unnecessary down-time for the employees.
For his hard work and dedication Michael received several commendations from upper management.
